Hearts of Gold: An Evening That Honors the Hearts That Give and the Lives They Change
Join us for Hearts of Gold, our annual gala celebrating compassion, community, and the joy of giving back. On Saturday, February 28, 2026, we’ll gather at The Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, for a night filled with purpose, music, and unforgettable memories. From 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM, enjoy an evening of food, music, and dancing with a purpose—all in support of the lives and futures our mission helps transform.
This year’s celebration will also shine a spotlight on our inspiring honorees (details coming soon), whose dedication embodies what it means to have a heart of gold. Tickets are on sale now, with opportunities for early supporters to secure preferred seating and recognition.

Our ANNUAL GALA
Who says doing good can’t be fun? Join us on September 27th at 06:30pm at ENVUE in Weehawken, NJ for a night of dinner and dancing against the glittering backdrop of the NYC skyline. We’re packing our silent and live auctions with fun, and planning plenty of entertainment.
This year we honor Ms. Nikki Badolato, FBI undercover anti sex trafficking agent for 20 years. Ms. Badolato’s trauma-informed approach and extraordinary experiences are described evocatively in Rolling Stone magazine:

Our SELF DEFENSE CLASS
On Saturday, January 28, 2023, IHC For Her, held a self-defense and empowerment class at Drop Fitness in Montvale, NJ. Our awareness team put together an amazing event, geared towards teenagers and adults. The program began with a motivational talk by award winning speaker Rita-Kataki Shah, who addressed the crowd on the importance of being self-confident and self-aware at all times. Tom Kersting, a child psychotherapist and author, took a deep dive into screen-time and the threats it poses to today’s youth. While the adults were deeply engaged with Tom, Master Fred Bargiacchi and his team, taught the teens self-defense techniques, to protect themselves in harmful situations. The afternoon ended with a mindful meditation and a sound bath by Ashweeta Durani and Lulu Orrok. Thank you to our 70 plus attendees for making this event a huge success.

Our ANNUAL DIWALI GALA
On Saturday, October 1, 2022, IHC FOR HER held its first Annual Diwali Gala. It is with heartfelt joy and deep gratitude that we proclaim it to have been a tremendous success. With a guest list of 250 ardent supporters, and through the grand efforts of our delightful auctioneer, Harry Santa the IHC FOR HER Gala raised $150,200 to be used to enroll as many as 136 survivors in our Empowerment Program in India.
In addition, the SDK Foundation, founded by Savita & Dinesh Khosla, have generously committed to creating an endowment fund of $250,000 to given annually to IHC FOR HER.
The evening was full of many wonderful and gratifying moments made possible by the generosity of all our incredible supporters. We thank you.

Our “POWERFUL IN PINK” LUNCHEON
The ladies luncheon, our first event of the year, was held at Kyma, Hudson Yards in NYC on April 26th 2022. We brought together 135 women to raise funds for our program and bring awareness to the issue of human trafficking.
